1. Familiarize yourself with our Accommodations Deadlines. Accommodations Request Forms must be submitted at least 4 weeks before your desired test date to allow CLT sufficient time to process your request.
2. Read our Documentation Guidelines and collect documentation that supports your students’ requests and fits our requirements. Requests for more accommodations than indicated in the student’s supporting documentation will delay approval.
3. Register your student for an upcoming CLT or CLT10 exam.
4. Create an account in our Accommodations Portal, and submit a request. Parents will create an account in the portal using their own email. (The student’s username (email) is needed to submit a request.)
5. Check back in to the Accommodations Portal to see your request status! Processing can take a few weeks.
Questions? Please contact cltaccommodations@cltexam.com
Any requests submitted without sufficient documentation during the first application may not be processed within the four weeks.
It is not necessary to submit requests for accommodations for the CLT3-8 exams. It is the responsibility of schools, co-ops, and homeschool parents to provide accommodations for these tests that reflect what the student requires in normal classroom settings.
If a student has previously received testing accommodations for the CLT or CLT10, those accommodations are applied to the exact CLT username/account used by the student for the duration of the approval period. Please contact us if you have any questions about your specific case.
