Finance and Accounting Coordinator
Classic Learning Initiatives, LLC is seeking an Finance and Accounting Coordinator in Annapolis, MD, to manage financial tasks such as payroll processing, cash flow monitoring, business modeling and regular reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This position will involve a great deal of creative thinking in support of a great mission; not a rote desk job!
The Finance and Accounting Coordinator will be expected to work 20 hours per week and will need to meet regularly with the CFO to review monthly expense reports. The position can be remote, though preference will be offered to candidates in the Baltimore/Annapolis region. Duties will include processing company payroll and the company budget, tracking commission, and formalizing reports for several departments within CLT.
Requires proficiency in accounting software and other data tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe, Hubspot, etc.) and excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Other requirements include a completed B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant accounting certification is a plus.
