Classic Learning Test (CLT)
The Classic Learning Test (CLT) is the new standard for college entrance exams. The CLT is designed for high school students and also serves as an end-of-grade assessment for secondary schools. Students take the CLT on a computer or tablet and receive same-day test results. Students can register here.
School administrators can contact the CLT to learn more at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The CLT10 is the official preparatory exam for the CLT. It is primarily offered to 9th- and 10th-grade students. The CLT10 provides scholarship opportunities through the National Association of Scholars. Scholarships are only available to 10th-grade students at this time. Students may register here and the test is administered on a computer or tablet.
The CLT8 is an end-of-grade assessment tool designed for 8th-grade students as they prepare for high school. It is designed as an aid for school administrators, teachers, and parents as they help students achieve grade-level academic benchmarks.
Many high schools are planning on using the CLT8 an entrance exam. While it is designed for 8th grade students, it can also be offered to 7th graders as an assessment tool to monitor school-wide student progress between the 7th and 8th grade.
The online CLT8 will be available for in-school CLT8 assessment twice per school year. Access the dates and locations page for the latest dates available.
